SuanLe La! is BIOS monthly’s third special edition, bringing together over 30 creators and their different takes on just letting it go. It’s not about giving up. It’s about allowing yourself to be a little messy, a little unfinished, and when life just won’t cooperate, shrugging and saying: Suan Le La!
The design leans into that same honest, humorous energy. Built around photographer Yi-Chen’s everyday images, the main volume comes with four random sticker covers — readers decide where they go, or not. The Selected Works is hand-stamped by the BIOS team, one at a time, so every copy turns out a little different. The Cling Film Photo Book is inspired by the plastic wrap box in your kitchen drawer. Pull out the paper to find what 16 contributors have been keeping to themselves. Even if it rips, that’s kind of the point.
